Kassey Shier

Who is Kassey Shier? 

She is a Jane of all trades - she’s crafty, energetic and enthusiastic. There isn’t anything she isn’t willing to try at least once. If given the opportunity to be taught, she will learn. 

Kassey has owned and operated her photography business for over 10 years. Although the operation has taken different forms over the years, from working part time,  to working as an associate. As she hustled to get through grad school; photography has always remained an important part of Kassey’s life. It has offered her a creative outlet, a voice of empowerment and a mode of connection into the various worlds that thrill her. 

Photography has been the link in her life, connecting every domain as she navigates the market communities - capturing the vendors crafty hobbies, ducking through crowds as she freeze frames her favourite country artist on stage, promoting self-love and self-esteem as she captures women and men in the vulnerable, empowering light. 

When she’s not behind a camera, you can find Kassey hiking her way to the top of a mountain, spending time with her beautiful nieces, cuddling her bull of a dog, and enjoying the authentic connections with her friends and family. A current grad student, an enthusiastic photographer and a supporter of empowerment!
